We always try to make reservations for sites 32-33. We had a great time and loved the experience ❤ only had one complaint. On the day we were to check out. They came around 11:15am to remind us of our check out time of which was fine but then as I was hooking up the camper they came again to tell me that check out was at 1pm. That was frustrating 😑

Stayed 10 days, thoroughly enjoyed the campground. Sites are very well kept by the staff, restrooms were very clean & well kept. Campground hosts were friendly. For folks with boats, keep in mind that not all sites have immediate access to the lake at your assigned site. You may have to share a beach site with other boats.

The scenery was beautiful, but on our first night, nearby campers played country music at full volume from their car from 3 am til 5 am. Other neighbors yelled at each other at all hours of the day and played loud country music when they weren’t yelling. My boys played in the lake mid morning and were shouting happily and a neighbor yelled for them to be quiet.
Park rangers were too far away to hear. Many campers seemed to be drunk based on their behavior, but the no alcohol rule and quiet hours were not enforced.
We were required to camp on a concrete slab so we couldn’t stake our tents down.
The bathhouse was nice to have and the rangers were nice but we will never return.
