My husband and I love this campground! It is located close to our home but, when there, we feel that we are far away from it, as if we are on a wonderful, nature-filled lake holiday. Views of the lake, sailing on the lake, swimming, kayaking over to observe the nearby osprey nest, and enjoying campfires while enjoying a stunning sunset are some of our favorite activities at Van Pugh South. We just wish it could be open year-round.
