We spent two very pleasant nights at site 27. This site overlooks a small sandy "beach" on a quiet cove of Lake Lanier. Because the campground was fairly empty during our stay (the middle of a September week), we had the beach to ourselves during most of our stay.
The campground (including the bathhouse) was clean and quiet. The employees that we talked to during check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. Overall, our experience with the Van Pugh South campground was great.

Depending on which spot u reserve. Some spots have more space with amazing view.
