The lake is beautiful and the campground hosts are super nice. The campsites are large and pretty level.
Our only complaints related to all of the trash that had not been picked up and also the high grass.
There was trash all around the dumpster and the swim area. Our site was full of cigarette butts. I’ve never seen that many butts in one place. Gross!
Also, the high grass was a bit unnerving due to the possibility of snakes hiding in it. I’ve read so many good reviews about Bolding Mill, so hopefully the trash and grass situation is temporary. 🤞

Campground was nice and host was awesome. Site #48 was good but I would choose another next time as this was our first time here.

The ladies bathroom was without toilet paper and one toilet was completely full of feces for DAYS before anything was done about it. I called the park hosts and they said the cleaning person had been let go and the park doesn’t get cleaned daily! That is completely unacceptable and a public health issue.
Also the grass is only being mowed on the edges. The park looks run down and it is difficult to walk dogs when you only have a small strip of grass to do so. Also the deer ticks have increased due to this causing yet another public health hazard.
We have camped here a few times before, the most recent was the end of May and the park looks so much more run down just in that two month span. Please don’t let our parks fall apart!
Also - the dump stations within the park are out of order. So when the gates are locked at night and you have an emergency- you are in trouble between the back up in your camper and lack of acceptable restroom facilities.
