This site was very spacious and accessible to the lake, however walking down to the lake was down a slight hill. I use trekking poles just for extra security from falling but you don't have too of course. There are some small trees down by the lake you have to watch out for if you're fishing but I was able to still fish without getting tangled in them. All in all, it has a beautiful view of the lake and the sunsets are gorgeous. This campsite has a fishing pier that we were able to walk to and fish from. The bathrooms were nice and clean and within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Great campground on Lake Lanier. Good if you have a boat, want to fish from the lake edge, or swim. Family and dog friendly. We left one day and drove (1 hour) to Stone Mountain. Groceries, camping supplies, and any general supplies you need are available in nearby Gainesville.
We enjoyed our stay and would camp here again.
