First time staying at Oconee Point. Great experience. Very clean, campground hosts were very friendly. Loved Lake Hartwell with minimum number of houses. Great catfishing. Good coves for kayaking. Will definitely plan future stays.

Site 32 at Oconee Point has great water access, is close to restrooms and playground. The site was level and gets afternoon sun. The entire campground is good for biking and easy walking. Fishing was good too.

Our campsite, unlike others around us, did not have a charcoal grill. We had planned on using a charcoal grill but used the one at the empty site next to ours. Apparently, some funding is needed for this poor campground. The restroom facility in the area of the sites in the 20s was very poor. The mirrors weren't actually mirrors, but dented metal...you know the kind. No possible way of doing anything to yourself in the restroom. We enjoyed the lakefront site, however, it was at a portion of the campground that we could not moor our boat because of a rock wall that was built under wire fencing. All in all, we did have a nice time. Very quiet. Nothing to do except sit at your site or go out on your boat. I like that. We like the sites of the highest numbers, but there is literally no restroom over there. In the middle of the night, that's just not cool.
