Ant killer is a must for rainy days. Bring water toys, if you donβt have a boat. kayak, paddle boards, plastic floating devices. Fire wood.

We love camping at whitetail. We were in site 19 and it was a very nice shaded spot. The only thing wrong was there were no bathrooms close by. The attendants were wonderful and very polite.

As usual the camp host did a great job. The campsite (#53) needed maintenance attention badly. There are several dead limbs and branches on the trees overhead in that site. The limbs need to be cut down immediately or a person, camper, or car could be seriously injured/damaged if one falls while the site is occupied. COE PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM.

Whitetail Ridge is a well maintained Corps of Engineers campground on the banks of West Point Lake. The sites are extremly spacious.
This campground is on the Chattahoochee River side of a large penincula. The Corps has a sister campground on the east side of the same peninsula named Holiday Campground.
Holiday Campground is on the banks of the Wehadkee Creek arm of West Point Lake. We prefer Holiday due to the cleaner waters of Wehadkee Creek.
