What Guests Are Saying
Andrew's Cove Campground offers a private and picturesque setting with a beautiful river running through it and access to a nice 2-mile hiking trail. Many visitors appreciated its proximity to Helen, GA, and the well-maintained facilities, despite some complaints about road noise and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. While some sites may have issues like uneven ground or poor access, the overall ambiance and natural surroundings make it a rewarding camping experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Site 2. It's right by the creek and is very peaceful. The only issue with the campground is there is no service and no showers or hookups. If you need service, you can leave the campground and park at the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest sign down the road headed towards Helen. If you camp here, go visit Anna Ruby Falls!

Love the campground but wish it wasn't so close to road.

Overall we enjoyed the sight. It was right next to the hiking trail which was perfect, right above the creek which was great at night once everything got quiet, and large enough of what we needed. However, there is a tree right smack dab in the middle of the parking area that required avoiding when backing in, we counted three yellow jacket nests (we all got stung least once), and the sight wasn’t very level due to erosion and a lack of proper up keep. In no way to I blame this on the FS but the previous campers, we had quite a bit of trash in our fire pit when we arrived. Clean up after yourselves people, this ain’t your mama’s house. Otherwise it was an awesome trip.

Nice place with a hiking trail that reaches the Appalachian Trail in just under 2 miles. Site 6 was not friendly to a travel trailer, but we made it work

For a last minute place, it wasn’t bad. The road is really close so take that into consideration. Overall, I’d go back.
