What Guests Are Saying

Andrew's Cove Campground offers a charming setting with good spacing between campsites and a picturesque creek running through it, making for a pleasant ambiance. Many campers appreciated the proximity to hiking trails and the nearby town of Helen, with some sites being particularly peaceful. However, there are concerns about road noise, the condition of facilities, and issues with reservations, which detracted from the overall experience for some visitors.

Despite the site saying it's reservation only and NOT first come first serve. Someone had already taken our campsite when we arrived and there was no way to get them to leave. It was on a Saturday and the phone number listed isn't active on the weekends

This is a no-frills campground that is perfect for tent camping or a small trailer. The creek runs right through the campground which is great, some of the sites are right next to it. It's on a road but I didn't hear cars all night, the sound of the creek drowned it all out. The toilets are in bad shape and there is a pump for water. This would have been perfect but I arrived late at night to find someone squatting in my spot. Nobody had been by to check reservations in over a week, I can only guess it was due to budge cuts. I would 100% stay here again.

I booked this site a month in advance. When I arrived, another group was set up that had apparently been booked the site just last week despite me still having an open reservation. I arrived only 2 hours after the check-in was available (~4PM) and when I went down the road to get service to the phone to call, no one answered the phones for the park so not resolution could be found. I ended up driving hours back home that same night.
