What Guests Are Saying

Andrew's Cove Campground offers a private and picturesque setting with a beautiful river running through it and access to a nice 2-mile hiking trail. Many visitors appreciated its proximity to Helen, GA, and the well-maintained facilities, despite some complaints about road noise and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. We love camping at Andrew's Cove! It's conveniently located just off the hwy just north of Helen. Camp sites and big and spacious. Our grandkids enjoyed playing in the water of the beautiful mountain stream that flows through the camp ground. There is an old fashioned hand pump to get water. The vault toilet was even power washed while we were there. Can't wait to go back.

When I was looking online for affordable places to camp I came across this campground, looking at the pics online I wasn't too excited. When we finally arrive I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! It's small and everyone is close together but it doesn't feel like it! The creek and the trees I just couldn't believe how amazing it was. Our kids had a blast looking for crawdads and other critters. There was no cell phone reception and that was great! Was close to town I could still get coffee and go eat. My only complaint is there's no where for ur trash and they don't update the sites with your reservation card. Since there's is no internet u need to screen shor ur site info if ur like me and forget which one it is.

The bathrooms are always disgusting, but the campground is woe to it.

- overall enjoyed the trip! The fly fishing is not that great but we should have done more research before. Hiking trail is beautiful, definitely recommend! The campground is dog friendly and the sites are spaced out nicely. We got there at dark so it made it hard to find our site number but once we did it was smooth. We stayed at site 6, we hoped would be by the water but it was not but you can still hear it. We had a large tent that did not fit on the tent pad. Even if we did use the pad it was so rocky we wouldn’t have been able to stake it down. Where we put the tent was not level so we slept on a hill all weekend. We made it work and got some decent sleep.
The toilets are something else (not good) I have not smelled anything that bad in a while. Would recommend the camp ground just keep that in mind when reserving.
