Great place to stay....several waterfalls close by - a couple are inside the campground!

We love Lake Rabun Beach! Hiking trail to Panther Falls and Angel Falls right in front of our campsite. The swimming beach is just a short drive. They're working on the bathhouse there, but I'm sure it will be great when they finish. Lots of places to see in the area....Minnehaha Falls, Hemlock Falls, Moccasin Creek State Park, Black Rock Mountain State Park, and Clayton. The best thing about the campground is the availability of secluded sites. The facilities are older but are very clean due to the diligence of the hard-working and friendly hosts.

Park hosts were great, helped to guide me into a tight spot, offered to trim a tree that would rub on the camper, told me a better way to leave than the goat trail I came in on. Wealth of knowledge about things to do around the park and non stop working the whole time I was there. Even helped me with an under inflated tire. Park was well maintained and restrooms were very clean. I would definitely go back but call for reservations, reservations gov was horrible and showed a full park, at best park was 30% occupied.

Take U.S. 441/23 south from Clayton for 5.4 miles; turn right on Wiley Connector for 0.1 mile; turn left (south) on Georgia 15 (Historic 441) for 1.4 miles; turn right on Lake Rabun Road (County Road 10) for 5 miles.
If pulling a trailer, the best route is to go west on Hwy 76 for 7 miles; turn left on Charlie Mtn. Road for 3.5 miles; turn right on Bridge Creek Road for 2 miles; turn left on Burton Dam Road for 5.4 miles. The campground will be on your left.
Lake Rabun Beach Recreation Area is accessed via U.S. 441/23, which is approximately 5.4 miles north from Clayton, and then via Georgia 15 (Historic 441) for 1.4 miles.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Safety & rules
- Generators can be used for up to 4 hours daily, but must not disturb other campers.
- Generators can be used for up to 4 hours daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Generators must be used quietly to avoid disturbing other campers.
- You may be asked to turn off generators if they disturb other campers.

- Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site.

- Camping or maintaining a campsite in developed and dispersed areas in excess of 14 days within any 30-day time period.
- After the camper(s) has accumulated 14 days within any 30-day time period, the camper(s) must leave that area/campground and move from Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest land before returning for another stay.

Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; obtain it locally to prevent pest spread.
Site capacity
- Camping is limited to 14 days within any 30-day period; after that, you must leave the area before returning.
