When we arrived at our camp site, we were pleasantly surprised to find it accommodating to hammock camping. We were prepared to “rough it”, but the facilities were so clean it didn’t feel like roughing it at all. The area is the most beautiful location we have visited in GA thus far, and we have been traveling various mountain ranges and locations for 8 years. We have decided to make Lake Rabun a yearly experience as a result of our stay. We will be back.
