We camped at sight 14. The best sight for tent camping. The park was very quiet and dark at night. That is the way it should be for tent camping for the best experience. The bathroom/shower facilities were so clean. Very happy with our stay. I cant wait to do it again! Oh and the sight being right on the lake with private beach was so beautiful!

The FIND organization is doing an outstanding job with the management and maintenance for this campground. Our experience was very pleasurable and enjoyable. It was rewarding to see the staff constantly taking care of all the day-to-day needs and expectations for the park/campground. We will stay there again in the future and will recommend to others.

I am happy to have the opportunity to offer HUGE thanks to those with FIND who were hosting/managing the campground a week ago (Sunday 5/31). Your kindness will not be forgotten and I look forward to the next visit - Morganton Point may only be 30 min from home but we've been coming here for close to 20 years and always love it.

We camped here for memorial day weekend. The lake was beautiful and a great opportunity for kids. We also went into Blue Ridge for hiking and to go on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Definitely a good expereience. The bathrooms were also very well kept and they had firewood for purchase at the campsite.

Most Sites were not really appropriate for 30 ft camper trailers. Our site was very uneven and steep. Our view was really pretty, but woe to anyone getting off the path/road or outside the immediate site area. Poison Ivy everywhere!! Watch where your children and pets walk or wander. Also, the website kept mentioning the availability of full hook ups. Our sweet hosts said there were maybe only one or two sites with that feature. The website needs to be clearer on exactly what features each site actually has. Bathrooms were clean and sites were clean.

Take U.S. Highway 515 north from Blue Ridge for 4 miles to Georgia Highway 60. Turn right (southwest) and continue 3 miles to the town of Morganton. In Morganton, turn right on County Road 616 (Lake Drive) and proceed for 1 mile. To enter the campground, take the first left after the Morganton Point entrance sign.
Morganton Point is accessible via U.S. Highway 515, which connects to Georgia Highway 60 in Morganton. The campground is approximately 4 miles from U.S. Highway 515.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
