What a pretty site!
Loved the fact that there is no cell reception. You are FORCED to unplug which is what we needed.
The river was nice and there were people fishing which was fun to watch.
All of the other campers were very nice and respectful of each other. There was minimal road traffic during the day and none at night.
The sites were well maintained and the toilets were clean.

This was my wife's first camping experience. I can say after our 3 day trip she is now embodied the camping spirit. We set up on site 10 which was more than accommodating. The grounds were well maintained and almost untouched by human hands. The hiking trails were fun with different degrees of difficulty. Best part is the place is dog friendly. An amazing site with a lot of potential.

Multiple people running generators all night wasn’t great. Also no notice given on changing the campsite from first come to reservation only

Pretty sites are squeezed in beside the FR with fisherpeople & hunters using the (clean!) pit toilets. Not our scene but if you like your campground abuzz this is the place for you! We ended up finding a primitive spot deeper in the woods.

Well maintained camp ground with pit toilets that seemed to be cleaned every day. It may be helpful to know that what shows up as "Mulky Loop" when reserving a site online is called "Mulky Campground" on the park sign when you arrive. The campsites start with #1 at Mulky Campground and then continue with #12 at Cooper Creek Campground a little ways down the road. Site #6 was not far from the toilets but a little more remote than some of the other sites. The fire pit had a removable grill attached. We found a water spout near the Cooper Creek toilets, but not near the Mulky Campground toilets. There is no cell service. We enjoyed our stay!

Our overall experience at the Cooper Creek campground was mostly positive. However, when we arrived, there were two men in our campsite, cooking over the fire. They remained in our site, claiming they didn’t know it was reserved. There was no campground host onsite to help us kick them out, so it was an awkward situation that upset my daughter.
There needs to be a better system in place that ensures the online reservations are logged and enforced on site, so that squatters do not cause problems like this for future campers. This could have been an ugly situation, but the two men eventually left, but only after I demanded that they leave. That wasn’t enjoyable.
