We have been going to the Cooper Creek for over 60 years.. Our son even named his son Cooper have the creek. We love it there!! Eddie and Shelia are the best!!

We enjoy having reservations, it was so nice not worrying about getting a spot.

Got lucky and found the last campsite available a few days before a Saturday night. Campground was clean and the hosts were very friendly. The site didn't border the creek and that was perfectly fine with me because those sites are close to the road where vehicles are in and out all day. The weather was beautiful, the creek scenery was relaxing, and the trout were biting! I'll definitely stay here again.

I have been going there for over 45 years. Great trip enjoyed the reservation portal. It allowed me to get the concrete based camp that was originally done for handicap. My pops is 71 years young and it works well for him.
Neg. Watching locals and other campers fill coolers with way more than their limit of trout.

The switch to online registration is BS. Every camp site but the one I reserved (after getting there and then having to drive 25 min back to service to book) was booked. About half of the sites were vacant the whole time I was there. That’s ridiculous. And every weekend they’re booked. It should be first come first serve like it used to be.

Just piss poor.

Most beautiful place to go and unwind! Take time to hike, walk along the creek, and turn off your phones!

Great location and sites. Access to river a plus. Duncan Ridge, Benton McKaiye and Cooper Creek Trails all good shape, well marked and secluded. Hike over 20 miles and saw nary a soul.
