Campsite and bathrooms were very clean and constantly maintained. Quiet and peaceful. No cell or internet service, but was available in Suches, about 3 miles away. Hosts had a land line available for emergencies.

Initially booked two nights in the only cabin at the location. No cell phone coverage. The cabin itself was fine, except the beds were horrid. Like they were leftovers from an army supply hut in 1970. Board-like Hard. Lumpy. Squeaks with any movement. I chose one and tried to fall asleep yet could not. So, in the middle of the first night I packed up my belongings and headed back to Atlanta. A two hour drive; much of it a windy mountain rural two lane backroad.

I tried all seven beds and they are all the same.... I challenge anyone weighing over 100 pounds to get a decent night's sleep. So I left and lost two night rent @ 125 per night = $250. Please refund my money. Otherwise, the lake and grounds were fine.

The site was difficult to park my 30 ft trailer in. Staff was top notch, friendly, helpful and caring . Host made security checks hourly and offered fire wood for $5 and delivered it.

Excellent camping experience. Very quiet, calm and relaxing. Bath house was clean and everyone was very friendly. We went to Brasstown Bald and High Shoal Falls and had a great time and experienced the beauty of nature. Cannot wait to go back.
