George and Peggy were the park attendant were very helpful.

As usual a great experience. The CG is always clean and well maintained. Staff is there if you need anything and courteous. Lake is way down, not sure why.

This was our first time at SHAFER-Heard . Also our first trip in this camper. We stayed at site 93. Great view of the lake, what little there was. The water was down for repairs. Our site was level and easy to back in. Nice shade from a very large white oak tree. Our dogs had lots of fun chasing falling acorns. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful with local directions. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. All and all we had a pleasant stay, and plan to return at a later date.

This was our first time at SHAFER-Heard . Also our first trip in this camper. We stayed at site 93. Great view of the lake, what little there was. The water was down for repairs. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful with local directions. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. All and all we had a pleasant stay, and plan to return at a later date.

this was a nice over night stop for me the sites were level so i did not need to unhook and the bathrooms were clean

Great site. I would call it a lake view , not a lake front. Deck is great, has a grill and a seperate fire pit. Lake level was down at time of visit in late September. Site driveway is narrow with and sloped. Verizon coverage was good enough to stream football game!
