We love this campground, but it's been a few years. Apparently, the parking and use policies have been updated so that only those with a reservation can even visit the campground. I reserved the group site, thinking that we could host our "open boat" day, but got notified that we had too many people coming and going to fit the reservation. No one actually camped and we were just hanging out on the lake at the docks and staying in our campground and sharing food. Anyway, now I know, but it's a very restrictive policy. And if we do it again in the future, we will need to reserve more spots which will prevent others from being able to camp. Since the docks are "unreservable," I thought a person did not need a reservation to use them. I'm still not totally sure I understand the policy.

Mack’s creek is a beautiful place to spend time making memories. Our camp host this year was awesome and made sure to check in with us regularly. He helped keep the area to only those who had reservations. It is a tough job at times and he handled it well. We will definitely stay here again. We have been coming here for many years and the recent changes have helped make it more enjoyable and much less crowded. It was a wonderful way to spend several days enjoying the beauty, the water, and loved ones!!

Love Macks creek. Host was a bit rude, bossy, demanding we couldn't be on beach without reservation, I informed him who I was & we did have a 3 nite Rav reso. He insisted we didn't, I then showed him my reservation & OHHHH THERE YOU ARE, whatever, 5 RV spots & he couldn't locate me.....

Travis was the best host we’ve ever had at any campsite, everything was clean and tidy, and he even gave our boys free ice cream voucher's for wearing their life vests. The views were immaculate and the private beach was amazing during a 95 degree day!

The camp host was very rude and confrontational. We talked with some other campers and they had the same view of the host as we did. He cased our 88 year old grandmother off of a picnic table that she was setting at when she was eating. The site was not reserved by any other camper.
