we had a nice site for our trailer with access to the river. Truck traffic is noisy at night so sites closer to the road might be adversely affected.

Uncrowded with power at the site. Bathrooms were very clean. The sites are long enough even for a large rig. Site #23 has a fantastic view of the river. Firewood was also available for purchase.

This trip there was no water hookup.. drained for winter. We had a full tank on board tho. On previous stays I wish a different reservation cancellation policy was in place. If you could fully refund weekend cancellations if given 12 hours notice, the campers looking for a spot could be accommodated. If a camper wants to leave early, give them a full refund if they let the camp host know they are leaving. Both examples could be dependent on someone filling that spot. Very nice campground… clean and easy access to trails and the river.

Essentially, it is a slice of heaven. It was mid October The nights were in the 50s days in the mid 70s.
Everything worked, everything was there, host was always official but also warm after a couple of meetings along the way, the firewood section was plentiful, I can’t think of a single thing to improve and that’s unusual.

We had a great time at Huckleberry.. Beautiful spot on the river (#3). The autumn colors were out. It was elk season so many hunters at the campground in their awesome canvas tents and set ups. A great crowd and good times!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. The sites are spacious and buffered with trees. Spots are level and hookups are easy to access. The sites are clean and mowed regularly. The restrooms are clean and smell good. The hosts are friendly and helpful. All of this makes for a great stay along the river.

- Huckleberry Rules• Camping allowed in designated sites only • Campers must occupy and pay for site within 30 minutes of arrival • No site saving • Site must be occupied first night and every 24 hours thereafter • No cutting of live vegetation • All pets must be leashed • Maximum length of stay: 14 nights • Citations may be issued for failure to pay fees • Campers may not leave personal property unattended for more than 24 hours • No shooting • No fireworks • Commercial uses require Special Recreation Permit Campsite Capacity• Additional vehicles must park in designated day-use parking areas. • Proof of purchase must be visible on vehicle/trailer. • Dump station is for registered Huckleberry overnight camping guests only.
