What Guests Are Saying
Huckleberry Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts who take pride in their work. The beautiful setting by the river offers opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities, making it a favorite for families. However, some guests noted noise from nearby logging trucks and felt that the pricing was high, especially regarding additional fees for electricity.

Very clean campground! The hosts were great! Would visit again for sure. If I had a complaint, it would be the road noise... but that is minor in comparison to how well kept the park was.

This its my favorite campground of all I have used. Proximity to the river is great and the grounds are very well kept. I visited Avery and found a very quaint (although very new) Pizza place (they also have a special recipe fried chicken). Its not very visible so you have to look for it.

We had a great little weekend at Huckleberry. Out biggest negative was how close it was to the road. We were in a tent at site 11 and the cars were so loud driving by at night. Probably wouldn't have noticed it as much if we were in a camper though.

Clean clean clean. Restrooms were very well taken care of and the grounds were too. We watched the hosts empty the garbage more than 3 times a day.

This was one of the best public campgrounds we have been to. The camp host and his wife have done an incredible job in this place. The sites are so clean and well maintained. Restrooms freshly painted and clean. Not to mention the natural beauty of the campground is unparalleled. Would love to come again.
