What Guests Are Saying
Huckleberry Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts who take pride in their work. The beautiful setting by the river offers opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities, making it a favorite for families. However, some guests noted noise from nearby logging trucks and felt that the pricing was high, especially regarding additional fees for electricity.

Great campground. We have been going to Huckleberry for more than 15 years. The camp hosts did a great job of keeping the restrooms clean and trash collected. If fact, the best we have seen over the past 15 years.

One of our favorite campgrounds! This site however has lots of mosquitos because of the stagnant standing water and the thick brush next to it. The electricity cut off and on and it was 100 degrees out!!! The voltage needs improvement-we had to run our frig on propane and run our generator nonstop.

We’ve been coming here for years and the campground is looking better than ever! Steve and his wife do an excellent job. The bathrooms are always clean do not smell at all. I can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed our experience here aside from a group of people who came through without their dogs on a leash. They threatened the camp hosts with coming back to shoot them and a group drove by shouting white power.

Loved this campground! Camp hosts are friendly and helpful. Most sites are distanced well giving plenty of privacy and quiet time. The road noise from cars going by on highway is a bit annoying but not frequent and it was quiet at night. Spots in eastern half of the campground don’t really have views of the river due to the bushes and vegetation, but you can hear it for sure. We’ll be back!
