What Guests Are Saying

Huckleberry Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts who take pride in their work. The beautiful setting by the river offers opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities, making it a favorite for families. However, some guests noted noise from nearby logging trucks and felt that the pricing was high, especially regarding additional fees for electricity.

Campground was in tip-top shape due to campground hosts. Bathroom were as clean as any I have seen and grass was mowed. Campground hosts can make or break the campground experience and this couple is worth their weight in gold. I made sure to complement them on the cleanliest of the campground and bathroom.

This was our first visit to this particular campground and we loved it! beautiful place right on the St. Joe and the campground and facilities were extremely clean and well kept. I think this is one of Idaho's best and we will be back again several more times this year.

Always a pleasant time at Huckleberry.Host are very friendly. We try and stay there a few times a year. Weather can be changeable and the bugs are sometimes worse than others. That said, will always count this as one of our favorites.

BLM's Huckleberry campground on the St. Joe River is one of the nicest camping sites in the northwest. The camp hosts are exceptional people.
