Campground itself is great, no bad sites, all long, all great tables and fire pits.
Kudos to the host for
“Cleanest pit toilets EVER”
So clean that I turned around and picked up a couple leaves off the floor that my shoes tracked in….
The hosts care, friendly and do a fabulous job at making sure people follow the campground rules so not to ruin it for everyone else.
Campground itself is not fancy, it can get a bit noisy as it’s on a busy road… but with water and electric it’s a great season starter campground and lots of in summer with floating down the river…

The location is perfect for just relaxing or heading out to trail heads. The leaves were just turning, and the campsite and surrounds are full of deciduous trees. The campsite was immaculate, yet again, and the outhouses were the cleanest I've ever seen - freshly painted and peppermint-scented, and cleaned every day. The camp hosts were lovely.

It is remote but did have wi-fi next to the check-in area which was helpful. It was quiet and our site backed up to the river. We loved it!

- Huckleberry Rules• Camping allowed in designated sites only • Campers must occupy and pay for site within 30 minutes of arrival • No site saving • Site must be occupied first night and every 24 hours thereafter • No cutting of live vegetation • All pets must be leashed • Maximum length of stay: 14 nights • Citations may be issued for failure to pay fees • Campers may not leave personal property unattended for more than 24 hours • No shooting • No fireworks • Commercial uses require Special Recreation Permit Campsite Capacity• Additional vehicles must park in designated day-use parking areas. • Proof of purchase must be visible on vehicle/trailer. • Dump station is for registered Huckleberry overnight camping guests only.
