What Guests Are Saying

Huckleberry Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly camp hosts who take pride in their work. The beautiful setting by the river offers opportunities for relaxation and outdoor activities, making it a favorite for families. However, some guests noted noise from nearby logging trucks and felt that the pricing was high, especially regarding additional fees for electricity.

Camp host Yolanda was great, really friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do and places to eat nearby. We were in spot #5 next to the shore with a beautiful view of the bay. Campground was well kept and vault toilet was clean and had plenty of TP. Lots of friendly “regulars” to chat with. We’ll definitely be back!

Our campsite was on the St. Joe river. It was very quiet people were floating down the river. We put our camp chairs in the river and sat for hours. We will be back.

The camp hosts do an excellent job of keeping the campground well manicured and clean. Especially the bathroom facilities and garbages!

I have ben going to Huckleberry for about 10 years. Each trip is better than the last. The hosts were wonderful. The campground and all the amenities are great. If I were to grade the hosts I would not hesitate to give them a 10 out of 10. If I have one gripe it is the power. At times our power fell below 108 volts. When that happens we would lose power until it improves. Other than that a terrific campground.
