Stoddard Creek is the perfect place for the first and last camping trip of the season. It is close to home, clean, peaceful, and tucked away from the noise of the highway.

We love Stoddard Creeks convenience from I-15 and the peaceful/quiet setting. We have stayed here before and had a wonderful experience. However this time there was a huge group in what looks like a group site to the south-east of the main loop. This group was all packed into what looked like an end-to-end encampment. They must have had 10 - 15 motorcycles (baffles removed) and ATVs. They drove in and out of the campground all day long. Then of course there are the unattended dogs that barked every 3 seconds from dawn to dusk. By unattended, I mean the owners were in the camper next to the dogs but didn't care if the dogs barked or not. Finally, some of the kids were shooting pellet guns in the "group site", but decided there was better bird hunting in the main loop. Someone in site #5 had to let them know that hunting was not allowed in the campground. We love Stoddard Creek CG, but unfortunately on this visit it was not peaceful, not relaxing, and not safe thanks to the group who had no regard to anyone else in the campground.
