What Guests Are Saying
Springy Point campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained location with friendly hosts and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciate the proximity to the lake and the availability of amenities like showers and dishwashing stations. However, some sites are small and can be challenging for larger trailers, and there have been concerns about wasp nests and limited privacy between campsites.

For small campsites it actually felt pretty private. The lake area is wonderful and there is a nice spot to paddle board to just across the bay. There are showers which is great!

TOO MANY WASPS!!
We found 2 basketball size wasp hives at springy point . Please eliminate them! Wasps were in our food, around our camp site and bothering us so much

Nice campground. Note that site #4 doesn’t have dirt for tent. Bring fence nails to drive into packed gravel! Also #4 is next to road with some traffic noise

Campground hosts were very efficient. Campground very clean, including the washrooms. We were in C loop (last minute booking) and the side away from the reservoir abuts the main road, and it was moderately busy through 10 pm with a few folks hitting the gas right next to the tents (not a reflection on the campground). The walk-in sites looked lovely (stairs to access) and are right along the shoreline trail.

Hosts were friendly. Beach was fun to swim on. Ducks and ducklings decided to say hi. Our sight was on a hill but that didn't take from the enjoyment. Our sight was clean when we checked in. Our drive way was pull through but curve but plenty of space for 2 vehicles. I was very happy with my experience

Lovely campground with decent amenities. We suggest a quick boat ride or paddle across to the point for a better (less clay) beach experience.

The site dimensions online were not correct and our trailer would not fit in the site. We had to sleep in the parking lot for two nights which is not what we paid for. No refund was offered. The error was on the campground side, not ours. It was a very disappointing way to begin our trip.

Showers are nice but were not clean. Beach is kind of small and gets busy with people using it for the day. Dishwashing sinks were nice.
