What Guests Are Saying
Springy Point campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained location with friendly hosts and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciate the proximity to the lake and the availability of amenities like showers and dishwashing stations. However, some sites are small and can be challenging for larger trailers, and there have been concerns about wasp nests and limited privacy between campsites.

Very tight spots to navigate a 24’ travel trailer. Spotter needed to back in to avoid hitting trees. Property is immaculate and wonderful as always, fourth year going to this campground

Springy point is a very comfortable campground. The bathrooms are very well maintained, not a single bug or cobweb to be found. There are free hot showers and stainless steel dishwashing sinks. The camp hosts are very nice and very present on the campground. There is an abundance of firewood for sale for $7 a cord. Sandpoint is only about 13 minutes away with access to Walmart and other grocery stores. There is beach and boat ramp access with a nice swimming beach. The only downside for us was the lack of privacy between campsites unless you get a site on the outer edges rather than the internal sites. The campground is in a loop so we observed those with much larger fifth wheels struggling a bit to make the turnaround on the loop, but they did it. We had enough space for our 2 larger tents (11 x 13), 13 x 13 dining canopy, 2 vehicles on the pull-through driveway with enough extra space to setup a volleyball net for the kids. It was a great experience and we would be happy to return.

Beach was not nice. Dirty. Campground was set up oddly such that the sites were spaced by you were on top of you neighbor, like their firepit was 10ft from your camper.

This campground is on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. It's charming with basic amenities. There are flush toilets, always a plus.

On arrival we were very excited to camp at springy for the first time & to be 3 miles from the long bridge. We cycled a bit after settling in then drove to Sandpoint for a hike. The area is very nice. We would not return due to barking dogs from 2 sites. The locomotive trains run all night with loud horns. There is traffic on the road that has likely increased due to more people moving to the area. We only stayed 1 night out of 3

My wife and I had a great experience at Springy Point Campground. The facilities were more than adequate, clean, well maintained and attended. The park host was very helpful and friendly. We have bookmarked this campground for future travels.
