We were very impressed with how quiet and clean the area was. The bathrooms are kept up nicely and the camp host/ volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Great campsite has it all and plenty to do. Fishing, hunting, playground, big fields, plenty of space, good showers and bathrooms (lights are left on all night so blinds or some sort of shade is impt), nice folks all around. Road getting in is rough for a trailer take your time and stay long enough to make it worth it. We will be back!

Never went in Dec, scheduling error and the system made it very difficult to cancel. Ended up paying for days we weren't there.

I've been camping at Dent Acres nearly every fall for 20+ years. Great place that gets alot of activity and the camping pressure has increased in that time. Now I'm scratching my head at the decision to close the middle loop to camping. All those sites are empty!! Open them

Great trip and nice to have privacy for our group. I would have given five stars except the fire pit is located too far from the pavilion and RV sites. It was cold and rainy so we needed a fire. We had seniors in our group and trekking back and forth to the fire pit was not feasible. PLEASE install a new fire ring/pit near the BBQ's adjacent to the pavilion. RV's can't park there anyway so it's a perfect location. Otherwise a great trip and great site!

As described in the Dent Acres visitors page, the road was 19 miles and winding but a beautiful drive. The full service camp site I booked was well maintained and a view overlooking the lake/river.

Has a lot of potential but not there yet. no water, no dump stations! some gravel but a lot large rocks to walk on, hard to do. only real place for the kids to play is to move the picnic tables out from the very nice covered concrete pavilion. had room for 11 trailers on main level, 8 with power. The only fire pit is quite far away from main area, not conducive to a large group, which is what its supposed to be for. Vault toilet was clean to start with but saw no workers in the 4 days we were there. All in all, fair but not great.

This is a great campground, a bit off the beaten track but I am a "local" as I am from
Elk River. Campground is clean and nice. My only complaint is that the sewer connections
at many of the sites are to high for my pretty low RV. Not sure why they were not put
in at ground level. Nice hiking trails in the area, lost of wildlife, even in the camp at times.
