I liked the campsite. Very roomy and I was able to share with my friends and relatives. The sand playground was very nice and a bit of a challenge. It would be nice to have it marked better and maybe maps that relate to the terrain to help from getting lost. Maybe have all the RV parks have some kind of lighting to designate where you are and where you are going, The ponds were also fun to break up the heat of the day. This was my first visit to this area after planning to go to these dunes for many years. The facilities were nice with the individual pavilions at the sites. It would be very nice to have water either at all the sites or more taps available to fill your water tank.

Every thing was great. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, clean camp ground.
The mosquitoes on the other hand were thick and very plentiful. It didn’t matter morning, day, evening or night. They were so thick I would consider the situation a health hazard.

We knew what we were getting into booking this campground for the most part. This spot is really not appropriate for anyone other than those using the dunes with lots and lots of power toys. We rented a OHV from a place down the road for a morning and had a great time. But our teardrop camper was extremely out of place amongst the huuuuuuuge toy hauler mansions. Felt very out of place. Sites are RV park style right next to each other with no outdoor privacy if you dont have the house to retreat to. Pit toilet was fine. For the purpose it serves, it's pretty good. But don't go here if you aren't expecting that.
