What Guests Are Saying
Buck Park Cabin is praised for its beautiful, isolated location, making it an ideal spot for a remote getaway. However, access can be challenging, especially for cars, and the cabin itself is small and basic. Overall, guests appreciated the scenic trails and the presence of amenities like a toilet, with some expressing a desire to return.

Excellent and beautiful place to stay despite the rough drive in. The cabin was stocked with utensils and other cooking gear that we did not expect. The futon was comfortable. We did not use the bunk beds. The wood stove kept the cabin almost too warm until early morning hours even though we quit stoking it when we retired for the night. One concern we had (have) is that the site is apparently available for other campers who do not stay in the cabin. This could be a problem for those (like us) who want their privacy, especially if a group was sharing the the site. This also has some bearing on plans to raise the reservation fee from $20 to $50 per night. It would be nice if Recreaton.gov at least requires reservations to camp here to a limited (no more than one) space or limits stay to those who have reserved the cabin.
