Our second visit. Loved it both times. Spent 3 weeks in October. Having been in quite a few COE campgrounds, we can say this is the best. Three campgrounds, friendly staff, a visitor center, and a 10 mile bike path from South Marcum to North Sandusky (20 mile round trip). Walmart super center just a couple of miles away, and Mt. Vernon to the North and Marion to the South are each only 30 minutes away.

I've stayed here several times . . . it's simply a great campground. Nothing fancy but not on top of each other, clean, and overall very nice. There's a Walmart just outside the campground for anything you need or forgot.

We had a great 3 days at the park and will definitely be back. The sites are very spacious and fit us easily. We are 73 ft hitched up the owl roost loop is a little narrow. We like that the rangers do their job and enforce the rules but we still saw a dog running lose even after I informed the ranger and they talked to him. We liked it so much we filled out applications to be volunteers there.
