I love to stay on the river. Great views and very peaceful atmosphere. My only suggestion would be that the grass be cut more often.

The camp host was so helpful when we found a little dog in the woods behind our camper. We love this quiet small campground!

We really enjoy camping at McNair campground. It's not a very big campground but that's what makes it so great. The campground host was very nice & helpfull.

It is a more quiet campsite with only a small number of sites. I like thatyou can walk along side of the river on the sidewalk, also watch the numerous fishermen on the rocks plus an added bonus is the vast birds that swoop down over the water including bald eagles.

This is a great location because of the Lake, cleanliness of bathrooms, close enough to town to ride ur bike to the Dam, McDonald's, or Swinging Bridge (but not this time because the water was so high) Fishing, but far enough away to relax. Fellow Campers are friendly.

From I-57, take Old U.S. Highway 50 west for 22 miles to the Dam East Entrance road. Turn north and continue through the four-way intersection to the McNair Group Area.

The Spillway Loop does not have a shower house, or dump station. Campers are able to use the shower and dumpstation at the entrace of McNair throughout the non-peak season. *Shower House may not be open 7 days/week. |

Camping No-Show - Camping no-show customers who do not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival or does not cancel the reservation by check out time on the day after the scheduled arrival date will be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit their reservation. If the no-show service fee is greater than the reservation amount, the customer will not be charged any additional service fees. |

Cancellation Fees - A $10 service fee is withheld from the refund anytime the customer cancels a camping or day use reservation. Depending on when the cancellation is made, it may be considered a late cancellation and additional fees may be forfeited.
