We stayed at Site #27 on the "upper" loop. It was a nice, shaded site that was close to one of the playgrounds, which our two young grandchildren enjoyed. Most of the sites on the upper loop have adequate room, but Site #28 is very close, with its fire ring only about 10 feet from the back of our camper, but luckily for us no one was staying in that site while we were there. It was very quiet at night from 9 PM - 7 AM. There is a nice small beach at the campground which has a very gradual slope so our grandkids could wade out about 30-40 feet without the water being over their heads. The restrooms were clean and air conditioned. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The shower curtains in the shower stalls in the men's showerhouse had mold all over them

A good experience overall. Nice to have water since the spillway loop bathroom has no shower. Bathroom could use more attention.

Fairly easy access for a big rig in the lower loop although I would not take a large rig to the upper loop. Large sites with shared water so take a Y. Lots of gnats in June. We'll keep this one on our list.

I’m not sure rec.gov can remedy our problem. There were several tents camped across the road. I think there needs to be a limit as to how many people can stay on a site. There were at least 9 kids, 2 moms, I grandpa, a teenage ‘couple’. They were loud and boisterous all day. Thank goodness they went to bed early. The ‘F’ language was used often, even by the kids. I know they were from Centralia, because grandpa threatened to take them all back home to Centralia.

Our site was clean and the firepit was clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!! You don't get that at the state parks. To reserve the site upon pulling in was simple and easy with the QR code.

The camp site had at least 6 piles of DOG crap in the grass by the fire pit. Camp site 21 had two big dogs running loose. Everyone else was walking their dogs on leashes and was picking up after them. I believe because you don't check-in like you do at the other Army corp campgrounds The host should make sure all campers know the rules and regs.
