The camping was great. The hassle to be able to camp is ridiculous. Some people have real jobs and real lives and you get a surprise free weekend and think let’s go camping but you can’t because the whole campground is reserved already. They really needs to go back to some first come first serve. Especially when you do get a chance get out and there are a handful of reserved sites that sit empty all weekend. If it ends up staying like this I might just have to sell out because my jod and my life doesn’t allow me to be able to plan ahead that much and I know I am not the only one to think this way. I really hope things change after this season.

The park is very clean and quite beautiful. Although, some of the water hookups are very long, the park is generally well laid out. A few more shade trees would be welcomed as some sites spend long hours in direct sunlight.

One the side of the campground 102-113 the woman’s shower could be a constant temperature instead of cold colder and then a little warm. It is not pleasant. It is always clean and it would be nice for warmer water. Please regulate it better

The only issues of concern is the road deviding the north and south campsites is the speed travelers are driving. Their is no speed limit going down to beach. Walkers, kids on bikes are in danger on this section of road.
NEED NEW SHOWER CURTAINS, MOLD.

This was our first time it Dam East campground. It is a beautiful campground but a the layout was a little confusing. We got lost in the dark trying to get back to our campsite after going to the bathhouse. The amenities listed electric and water however we could not hook up to the water, you can only fill your fresh water tank. I was disappointed by this and none of the sites have sewer hookups and our tv antenna could not pick up a single station. We prefer Dam West campground because most of the campsites have full hookups and our TV antenna picks up many stations.
