Nice site layout and spacing, and just the right amount of sun and shade, very friendly host, great place for walking biking, swimming, fishing from shore, very clean vault toilets and comfort station

Love this campground! We stop every time we head west and also onthe way home. Quiet, clean, and has a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. We always check out the White Pelicans who summer below the lock, and we love to watch the barges as they make thier was up and down the river. Highly recommend! Always great campground hosts too.

Our campsite was great and everyone was friendly in the campground. The grounds and bathrooms/showers were clean. We spent time walking on the bike trails nearby and biked on them as well. The highlight of our trip to the area was to find the trolls in Clinton, Iowa.

We stayed 8 days. Clean camp ground, excellent camp hosts and volunteers. The rangers were friendly and there every day keeping up on daily maintenance. The staff was very friendly and was actively walking the campground several times daily making sure everything was in order. Not full hook up sites, but power is at each site, water located near each site to fill your tank. The dump stations available were clean and maintained. I would highly recommend this site.

Fishermans Corner is accessible from Interstate 80 via IL State Route 84, which provides direct access to the campground approximately 1.5 miles south of the exit.
