What Guests Are Saying
Blanding Landing is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with clean facilities and a friendly host, Ann, who is helpful and welcoming. The area offers great recreational opportunities, including access to the river and hiking trails, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. However, frequent and loud train traffic, especially at night, may disrupt sleep for some campers, so earplugs are recommended.

I would've gave it 5 stars if they would clean out an area for on-shore fishing. You need a boat, if not your out of luck. Overall beautifully kept and clean rest/shower rooms.

Campground is nice if you don’t mind occasional trains. Need a boat if you want to swim. Nice view of the river and sunset.

Our campground host was excellent. She stopped to visit us and answer any questions we had. She kept the bathrooms very clean and she routinely checked the campsites, so we could stop her and ask questions as well. The train is close to the campground, but, we enjoy trains, so it never bothered us. It is a small campground with a beautiful view of the water. We would go back again.

Great place to stay a lot of privacy. The only drawback is the train that seem to run quite frequent. If you plan to be outside expect the train coming through at least every 30 minutes with horn sounding.

Camping mid October in a tent close to the RR tracks was a hoot. The ground would vibrate when the freight train would pass by at any given time of night . Don't expect much sleep but enjoy the experience. Lets not forget the the train whistle warnings as they approached the road crossing. With the leaves off the trees you could hear the train approaching miles away. Yes I would camp there again. It was a clean camp ground and nice Mississippi River location to enjoy the visa.
