Many guests appreciated the friendly hosts, cleanliness of the facilities, and convenient access to Lake Shelbyville. no cell service, but that was ok - camp host & staff very helpful & friendly - shower house/bathroom was clean everything was maintained - site 48 said it was a pull through - I guess you could but it was better to back in to get level & to have the camper near the power box - otherwise you would have to be careful not to drive over it.
Some turn arounds where tight even for my 19 ft camper. water spouts where throughout the park which was very nice

The bathrooms were only cleaned once in my 5 day stay and even though the trash was picked up off the floor I don't believe any disinfectant or any type of cleaning solution was used to clean. I didn't have this problem last year when I stayed here nor when I stayed at 2 other campgrounds on this lake this year. Bring your own cleaning supplies if you plan on camping here this year. The site itself has gorgeous views and even tho the decent is steep to lake the trail to the north of 53 is well maintained and makes it as easy as it can be to get to the water near this site.
