Lone Point Campground offers a variety of well-maintained sites with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great option for relaxation. Many guests appreciated the friendly hosts, cleanliness of the facilities, and convenient access to Lake Shelbyville. While some sites may be unlevel and require extra care, overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed eagerness to return.

Okay place to camp, if you plan on being on the lake. If you don't have a boat, then not much here.

the site 67 was a spacious pull thru, easy to get into, it was a mix of sunny and shady. it had a new grill, not really any bugs, the campground is quite, the camp host was very friendly and kept an eye on things. the only issues we had was the water spicket was leaking water really bad and another camper stopped and told my husband how to fix it and said that it had been like that since they opened, my husband fixed it quickly and we had not other issues with it, also when my husband went into the lights would not come on, but we really did like the campground and will be back.

Lone Point is our favorite place to stay at!! We found a perfect spot for us and our doggies. We are retired so we stay 2 weeks at a time!! We are very upset to hear park closed. Went to other parks and can't always get in. No matter how early. And some of those big parks have kids who run all over!! Can't go without worry one will run out in front. Please don't close!!
