Small campground but very nice and clean. Clean and spacious sites. We met both sets of the camp hosts and they were wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

Lone Point Campground offers a variety of well-maintained sites with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great option for relaxation. Many guests appreciated the friendly hosts, cleanliness of the facilities, and convenient access to Lake Shelbyville. While some sites may be unlevel and require extra care, overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed eagerness to return.

Campground is good for water sports and relaxing in camp. I came to hike the Little Chief Illini Trail, but it was not maintained and impassible in places. Disappointing.
FHU sites don't have much privacy nor shade, but electric only sites are larger with shade and privacy. Shower house did not have hot water the first three days of my stay. When I mentioned it to hosts, it was fixed next day. Showers have no temperature control.
Unless trail is improved, I will not return.

Main bathrooms were clean, but showers didn't have cold water and it was HOT. Other bathrooms had a lot of bugs and my son wouldn't use them. I wish there were more spots to walk to fish instead of just the one. Beautiful campsite!
