Lone Point Campground offers a variety of well-maintained sites with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great option for relaxation. Many guests appreciated the friendly hosts, cleanliness of the facilities, and convenient access to Lake Shelbyville. While some sites may be unlevel and require extra care, overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and expressed eagerness to return.

Nice, clean, wooded campground. Only a handful of FHU sites at the entrance, some on gravel and some on cement. Most backup to a tree line. Bathhouse was clean, close enough to other COE in the area with beach amenities. Boat ramp on site. Some electric only sites have nice water views.

A telephone rep helped us reserve our site at Lone Point. The rep had a ZERO attention span. We stated that our motorhome is 38 ft and that we would like a full hook up site preferably on the water. Well...we were on the water. The site was too short, the sign said not to put out our slides (because the road wasn't wide enough), no sewer, there was no water except the lake but there was eletricity... Needless to say we needed help desperately! When the Camp Hosts became aware of our situation they called the Park Ranger and together they helped us locate an available site. We can't give enough praise to the Camp Hosts and Park Ranger for doing such an excellent job. The telephone reps need more training and perhaps camping experiences so that they know what their customers are requesting and what the campgrounds have to offer.

Site along with campground are well maintained. Not enough sites for water hookup.
Our lot had quite a slope and was glad my motor home has self leveling.
