Had a nice stay. The only issue that was concerning is from where our spot was (63) and getting our 5th wheel out because of the dip in the section we were on and the peak of the main road coming out I had to raise my hitch, then once out of park had to disconnect 5thh wheel and lower hitch back to proper hight. I think a Is warning should be noted when booking. Smaller trailers only.

We enjoyed our weekend. site 18 is next to tent campers so it was quiet. Campgrounds is well taken care of. Showers are ok. There was one new restroom building. We arrived on a Thursday and by Saturday the grounds was completely full.

Opossum is a beautiful campground. Each site is compacted limestone & larger than a normal campground. The only problem we found is that there are some inconsiderate dog owners that do not pick up after their dogs. We are going back to Opposum Creek again. Thank you COE for keeping the campground nice and easy to get around.

Nice shady sites. To many people think the speed limit is 30 plus mph. Need trash barrels at play ground.

We always enjoy Opossum Creek, once we get there. Seem to get lost most of the time. It is one of our favorites in the U.S. This site wasn't ideal but we were late in booking and had to take what was open on your first weekend of the year. The only complaint is that the shower curtains were moldy. If people would pull them closed when done the curtains would dry and not mold. Otherwise we had a fun-tastic time! Thanks and hope to be back soon.
