Dunewood Campground is a well-maintained and beautiful site with clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and spacious, private campsites. Nice quiet campgrounds. Love that there is a camper's sink. Easy to get to L. Michigan and the dunes.

Very quiet and peaceful campground. Camp hosts kept an eye on things but were discrete. Restrooms and campsites very clean and well ordered.

The campground was nice, but showing it's age. The site we were at (47) was not as level as it looked, though we were able to level when at the very top, near the posts. We really enjoyed the Beverly Shores, and reading about the houses. The beaches and visitor centers were great.

Only complaint is this. The campsite description is not something that you should go by. The site that we chose said up to 65' in length for a pull thru. The bad part of it was, there was a slight incline, and a bend in the site. It was not straight like one would assume when reading the description online. The other thing to consider is that there are wooden posts sticking up out of the ground that made it impossible to pull thru the site. I had to actually pull forward and back into the site, because of those posts and a tree on the opposite side, and of course, the bend in the site wasn't helpful.

The spots were spacious & wooded. We would come back.

The camp sites were nice and big. The one thing that could be improved is the bathhouse needs some serious repair or updating.
