The best part of the South Slope Loop camp sites was the shade! This is such a lovely forested area. The restrooms and camp sites were nice and clean. We didn't realize this until after starting a hike but the Loop Trail is accessible from the South Slope Loop near camp site #19. From there it is only a quick hike to the Interpretive Trail as well.

We love staying here. Spacious sites. Beautiful trees. Very clean shower and restroom facilities. We will be back. The camp host, Lonnie takes very good care of guests.
