The campground and restrooms were clean. The grass was mowed up nicely, and the staff was friendly.

We enjoyed the view of the lake and to changing colors of the trees.. We also rented a pontoon boat at Coralville Lake Marina. What a great way to spend a fall day.

Always a great stop over on trip from MO to MN. Arrived late/road construction!! No check-in available but friendly park ranger showed up to offer assistance. Glad for ability to reserve and prepay thru rec.gov.

Slow line at the dump station due to an individual unaware that other people might want to use the facility, but otherwise a delightful experience.

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at West Overlook. With three adjoining sites, we had so much room for our tents. Facilities were upgraded and very clean. Appreciated the hand soap dispenser staying filled and hand dryer. Plenty to explore around the area. Weather was perfect. Thanks for a great camping experience.

From Interstate 80 (Iowa City, IA) take Exit 244 towards Dubuque St./North Liberty. Travel north on Dubuque St. for 3 miles and turn right onto West Overlook Rd. NE. Travel on West Overlook Rd. NE for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
From Interstate 380 (North Liberty, IA) take Exit 4 towards North Liberty. Travel east on W. Penn St. for 2 miles and turn right onto N Dubuque St. Travel south on N Dubuque St. for 1.9 miles, at the traffic circle, continue straight onto Dubuque St NE. Continue traveling south on Dubuque St. NE for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto West Overlook Rd. NE and travel east for 1.1 miles. At the stop sign take a slight left turn. The entrance to the West Overlook Campground will be located straight ahead.
