Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

Spacious and level camp sites, great bike trails. Beautiful setting with many eagles. hawks, and herons. River fishing was good but required walking over large rocks to get to the water in most places. This was our first trip to Red Rock, and we will certainly be back.

Enjoyed our time camping with extended family. We had a great campsite with a beautiful large tree shading our camper.

The best view and breeze from the river. No campers on top of you.

Our site was awesome the first week. But the second week we were in site #56. It’s very close to the road and not much privacy

All great sites. Plenty of room and shade. Cell service not the best

Overall the stay was good. Our site next to the walking/bike bridge, which is loud and was used at all hours of the night. Although the restrooms were clean, they need upgraded like the ones at the north overlook beach, and campground. Overall, we would stay here again. Cell service is non existent, don't depend on it U.S Cellular was not usable, AT&T was very spotty.
