What Guests Are Saying
Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

Great camping site. Lots of grass, trees, deer and very clean and well kept. Adjacent trails around the lake next to the campgrounds.

First time here and it was a lovely spot (#66) spacious room between campers and very nice bath faciities. This site had a water spigot very close so we could fill up when backing in. The town of Pella is lovely. Will definitely return.

Unlike the restroom/shower houses at Saylorville, yours seem to lack heating in cold weather, and there was no hot water in the showers. And, really? Just a shower curtain for shower privacy? Saylorville has doors on all the showers.

WE RARELY GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO CAMP. WE JUST REALLY LIKE GOING TO PELLA HOWELL STATION. WE ARE CLOSE TO GOING TO DOWNTOWN WHICH IS SUPER GREAT. ALSO CLOSE TO GOING HOME IF WE HAVE TOO. THE PARK IS VERY CLEAN, SPACES ARE A GOOD SIZE, NOT REAL CLOSE TO OTHER CAMPERS.
