Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

If you need cell service on your trip, this campground has hardly any reception whatsoever. So if you stay here and plan on using your phone for anything, you'll need to go about a mile up the hill to use it.

Disappointed due to 50 Amp service was bad & we could not use 2 air conditioners at the same time because it blew the breakers.
We also noticed the water had a smell to it.

Really wish you were full hookups. The county parks in Marion County are, and charge $25.00, you all charge 20.00 just for electric.
Just my thoughts

Internet is not good for Verizon phones. The bathrooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Spots are mostly level, quiet and attendee's very nice. Stayed several times never any issues.
