What a great park. The trails for biking and hiking are fantastic. Fishing is excellent and watching all of the eagles was fun

Howell Station is our favorite place to camp. Large lots and love the bike trail. Nice and peaceful even on weekends with families camping. Most of the volunteers and hosts are so friendly and helpful

I think Howell’s Station is one of the most beautiful and spacious campground in Iowa. Having access to bike paths is a plus!

We offer a limited supply of firewood at the campground. If you want to ensure you have firewood for your stay, please plan on bringing your own supply. Travelers entering Iowa are strongly encouraged to leave out-of-state firewood behind. |

Camping units are restricted to one wheeled unit and two tents, or three tents per site. A maximum of eight persons per campsite is allowed. |
