What Guests Are Saying
Curtis Creek Campground is well-maintained and offers a beautiful, peaceful environment with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts. Guests appreciate the great fishing and scenic views of the lake, making it a popular destination for families. However, some areas need improvements, such as upgrading the bathrooms and adding 50-amp service in certain loops, as well as addressing some unlevel campsites.

Curtis Creek Park is a beautiful area. The only downside is that power is only 30 amp. Apparently B loop is having 50 amp installed, however, water is not available at each site. PLEASE install 50 amp power in A loop.

Site was great, and noticed the camp host out cleaning and tending to the park and restrooms. Will definitely be staying here as often as possible!

Curtis Creek is a clean, reliable and pleasant place to camp in the middle of Kansas where there aren't many viable options. Our travels bring us through nearby Junction City every spring and fall and our stays are always enjoyable. We speak to other campers, invariably from the local area, that greatly enjoy this lakeside haven. There are several miles of roadway to walk or bike, the views are pleasant and the staff keeps all the facilities in top shape. Highly recommended!

I camped on a buddy spot with a friend of mine. He got there first, and realized that our site was not going to work for our campers. While he was standing there pondering what to do, the camp host came up and asked if he needed help. She saw the dilemma that we was in, and had us move to a better spot that was open. She moved the reservation for us. That made for a nice camping spot and a peaceful relaxing weekend. I am a retired disabled combat vet, and I really appreciate how the federal sites give us a discount on camping fees.
