What Guests Are Saying
Curtis Creek Campground is well-maintained and offers a beautiful, peaceful environment with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts. Guests appreciate the great fishing and scenic views of the lake, making it a popular destination for families. However, some areas need improvements, such as upgrading the bathrooms and adding 50-amp service in certain loops, as well as addressing some unlevel campsites.

First weekend out and first weekend for the staff at Curtis. They were very helpful, courteous, and helped us switch to a buddy site that would accommodate our needs. Thanks Barbie!

I would like for some 50 amp electrical applications to be added to A and C. B needs to be fixed that is absurd that this hasn't been repaired after the flooding. Also, the boat ramp inside the park should be added back which hasn't since the flooding.

Great site right by the water. Very quiet and friendly area for older adults that want a more peaceful camping experience.

I stayed here as i was driving through Kansas, so it was just a quick overnight, but it was very beautiful and peaceful.
I arrived pretty late, about 8:15pm, and there was no one at the gate when I arrived so I was a little worried, but I pulled up their email that had all of the information and between that and the park signs I was able to easily make my way to my campsite--which was BEAUTIFUL! I stayed in spot A18, and if you are tent camping I would choose that one if you can. It is the last spot in the row of sites and is bordered on two other sides by the lake so you can have an uninterrupted view.

Campsite was perfect. However, the public bathrooms were nasty in campground A & at the shower house. They were never cleaned the whole time we were there. We have been camping at this location for over 30 years & this is the worst it has ever been. Very disappointed.
